PRESIDENT BUHARI HAS APPOINTED DOYIN SALAMI AS THE NEW CHIEF ECONOMIC ADVISER

The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari, has appointed Doyin Salami, as the new chief economic Adviser.

Buhari appoints Doyin Salami as the new chief economic adviser Doyin Salami is a 59 years old doctorate degree holder from the university of London and the former chiarman of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council that was set by president buhari in 2019.

His appointment was announced by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity Femi Adesina on Tuesday 4 January 2022.

Dr Doyin Salamis appointment will help in resolving some economic problems like high inflation, weak exchange rate and rising cost of food.

This is the time Nigeria needs him most and his appointment wouldn’t be so challenging because he has worked as the chiarman of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council.
