PRESIDENT MOHAMMADU BUHARI NOMINATES MUAZU JAJI SAMBO AS NEW MINISTER FROM TARABA STATE

Muazu jaji sambo has been nominated by the president of Nigeria The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari on Tuesday wrote a letter to the senate to confirm the nomination of Muazu Sambo as a new minister.

The letter was read by the senate president, Ahmad Lawan, on the 14th of December during the plenary.

The letter reads

Dear Distinguished Senate President, Confirmation of Ministerial nominee.

In accordance with section 147, subs section 2 of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended. I have the honour to forward for confirmation by the senate, the nomination of Muazu Jaji Sambo from Taraba state as the minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Recall that on Wednesday first September, the president sacked two ministers of his cabinet. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohammed Sabo Nanono and Minister of Power Sale Mamman.

Muazu Sambo might be nominated to replace one of the two vacant portfolios.
