Fire breaks out in Lagos state at the Apongbon section of Eko bridge on Wednesday 23, march 2022.
According to information gathered by infohub101.com, goods worth millions of Naira were burned.
The fire outbreak affected the commercial activities around the Lagos Island area of the state.
Lagos state traffic management Agency tweeted that the traffic from Eko- bridge has been re- routed to Ebute-Ero to link inner marina.
Adeseye Margaret the director of Lagos state fire and rescue service, has said that the men of fire service and other security agencies are still on ground. She also described the the incident as disastrous.
Although the cause of the fire outbreak has not yet been ascertained as at the time of publishing this report. And no injury or death was recorded in the scene.
